I have been in front of the camera for years and have friends in the photography, but I wanted to work with real pro's this time to get my shots. I had many ideas and they all went down well. The photographer they gave me really brought them to life. He made it all happen and I got exactly what I wanted.

TS Studios were in a great location in Manchester, which was near my home. I didn't have to wait long when I arrived and they were really well-organised. We went outside and the photos looked great with the city in the background. We also took some inside and the lighting and everything was really amazing. They had the best equipment! "I love taking photos for my Instagram and Facebook, so it was kind of second nature when I was getting the photos done. The photographer at TS Studios was full of compliments, I can’t say anything bad about her. I knew the photos were going to look good, so it came to no shock when I saw them on the computer screen. The women who showed me the photos liked them too. She offered me a package that suited me and I am willing to pay for something that I really want to do in the future and this will allow me to build my portfolio and hopefully start a successful career in modeling. I couldn’t spend the full amount on the day, so I agreed to a payment plan. Excellent service, fun, professional and promising!

"The photoshoot at TS Studios was fun but also professional and I enjoyed every minute of it. The photos were so sharp and the quality was great. Former Love Island star Brett Staniland has shed light on the 'homophobic abuse' he suffered after appearing on the show last summer.

The fashion model arrived into the villa as a bombshell in 2021, and his quirky fashion sense soon got tongues wagging.

While Brett became very popular among the other Islanders as soon as he arrived, the same opinion seemingly wasn't shared among the public, who he claims bombarded him with abuse once he left.

Brett only had eyes for medical student Priya Gopaldas when he first landed in the villa, but after she claimed she got 'the ick' due to his quirky fashion sense, Brett was left red-faced when he arrived back to the UK where he was endlessly teased about his appearance.

The model, who also boasts a PhD in Applied Biological and Exercise Science, said he found it difficult to go out in public after appearing on the show due to the volume of abuse he received after returning home to the UK.

Brett said he found it 'very challenging' to go out in public in the weeks after his departure from the Love Island villa.The former Islander went on to reveal that he found it incredibly tough not to read the bad things that were written about him on social media as Love Island fans mocked him relentlessly.

 The Ukrainian Fashion Industry

As Russia ordered troops to separatist regions in Ukraine early this week and dropped hints of a wider incursion into the country, the Ukrainian economy is already feeling the negative impacts of the encroachment — including on the nation’s nascent fashion sector. By 2020, political tensions between Russia and Ukraine had already cost Uk $280.000. However, the most important factor is the loss of life caused by Putin's pointless war (as if Russia didn't have enough land already).

●       One reason for the current escalation of tensions is a disagreement between Russia and the US over the possible future expansion of NATO into Ukraine.

●       Russia’s overall fashion market is struggling due to economic headwinds but the luxury segment is surging thanks to repatriation of spend over the pandemic.

●       If the West imposes new sanctions on Russia, experts say some mass market players could be negatively impacted but luxury will be more insulated.

 Gabriela Hearst- changing the Fashion Industry for the better 

Welcome to our blog! Here TS Studios will review the work of Gabriela Hearst. Fresh from success at The Fashion Awards, the Chloe designer is among four women determined to put the environment central to their work.

When it comes to reducing fashion’s impact on the environment, we know we need change – and quickly. There’s arguably no one in the industry who epitomises that more than Gabriela Hearst, who has won the inaugural Leaders Of Change Award for the environment at the Fashion Awards.

“It’s a real honour for me to receive an award for something that is [my] mission,” the designer tells Vogue over the phone, a day before the Fashion Awards. “I feel like I’m one of many catalysts across many industries that are trying to figure out [how to do things] differently with a lower impact, and doing it fast.” Hearst has proven the vast amount of progress that can be made in a short space of time. 

Her autumn/winter 2021 collection contained four times the amount of sustainably-sourced materials compared to Chloé’s autumn/ winter 2022 collection. For spring/summer 2022, the amount of low-impact materials increased again, from 40 per cent of the collection to 58 per cent; with the brand transitioning from cotton to linen, for example.

Despite the significant progress that Hearst has already made, she’s constantly determined to do more – with the designer focusing in particular on the use of energy across the supply chain (a major shift that needs to happen in order for fashion to reach its emission reduction targets). “You have to keep on instructing yourself and learning,” she continues.
